The Bar Harbor Fine Arts Festival is held on the grounds of Bar Harbor's premier luxury hotel; The Bar Harbor Inn, strategically located in the middle of town on the harbor waterfront. Artists and patrons alike agree that the location is an ideal venue for this upscale arts event. The show features an "early-bird" jurying enabling artists to plan their summer trip and reservations in advance.
The show is held at the peak of the tourist season in Bar Harbor and traveling artists are encouraged to combine the show with other local shows or a vacation to our wonderful Acadia National Park.

Changes for this year's show:

Artists may sell work during the set-up period on Friday. Set-up will start at 11:00 am and must be complete by 6:00 pm. Painters and other 2D artists may sell reproductions of displayed original works under strictly limited conditions. The policy is outlined in
Media Requirements under "reproductions" and must be adhered to. Artists in violation of these policies may be asked to remove the items or ejected from the show.

To apply for more than one category through Zapplication, you will need to register a new user ID and password for each category. Exhibited work must be substantively similar to works submitted for jurying.
